How can I add money using a debit card?

There are several ways to add money to your Pyypl account. Let's walk you through how to deposit funds using a debit card.

1. Launch your Pyypl app

Make sure you've signed up and completed your verification before adding money to your account. If you haven't signed up yet, tap here to see is a step-by-step guide on how to sign up for a Pyypl account.

Launch your app and enter the passcode.

2. Add money

You'll need your debit card handy before you get started.

Go to the app's home screen, tap top-up and choose debit card as your preferred method.

3. Tell us how much you'd like to top up

Enter the amount you want to top up along with your debit card details.

You will be required to input your debit card number, CVV and the expiry date. Then, select the source of funds from the dropdown menu by tapping source of funds.

Next, you can toggle the switch next to save card.

If you'd like to save your card details for the future, you have nothing to worry about. Your card details are encrypted and safe with us.

Tip: Once you enter the top up amount, you will see the minimum top up amount and maximum top up limit. Typically your maximum top up limit is equivalent to your consolidated wallet limit.

4. Verify your payment

Once you've filled in the card details, tap next.

Depending on your bank, we may require you to verify your payment. If you're prompted to enter the OTP (One-Time-Password), you should receive this on your mobile number associated with your debit card.

Enter the OTP and tap submit or the confirm button on the verification page.

6. Confirm your deposit

You will now be redirected to the app, and the funds will be added instantly.
